Polka Dots & Leopard

Hello there! I know it's been a good while since I've posted but I'm back. As you can see I'm wearing shorts because for some reason the weather is playing. It is only cold in the morning and night but afternoon is quite sunny. It was a little breeze so I threw on my cardigan. I love this color combo together it's so rich in color!!! What's crazy is when I started uploading the pics I thought omg I look like barney with these colors on but barney never looked this good lol. I almost played it safe by putting on a solid belt and sandals because I didn't know how others would take my outfit but I decided against it. Part of being yourself and having your own sense of style is to take risks so I'm gonna wear what makes me happy despite if others may not understand my fashion sense.

Coral & Cognac

Hey there I'm not gonna ramble on today it's kind of late just got off work and I have to be up early in the AM for some training class...yay me. Good thing is tomorrow is Friday yipee!!!! Anyway these boots I have on are starting to annoy me. When I bought them I was so excited to finally have the perfect pair of cognac boots or so I thought. I tried them on thinking ok these are some cute knee high boots but they don't stay that way. The first time I wore them they slouched down so much. This time I figured let me try out some leg warmers they will for sure do the trick and keep these puppies up. Um no they didn't so I think I am still on the hunt for some good cognac boots minus the slouch.
I finally got my hubby to be in some of the pictures he he. I don't think he likes taking pics.

Furry Friend

Yes guess what time it is...fall!!! Where I live it's been hot up until this week and I couldn't be happier I'm ready to break out the cold weather clothing. So bring on the sweaters, scarves, boots, and hats yipee!! Ok let me get back to reality lol.
I wore this out to dinner with my hubby and the kids. I almost changed right before we walked out the house because I felt a bit over done but I decided against it. It's been a while since I've dressed up so I said oh what the heck I'm wearing my heels lol. It was a kinda chilly tonight high 50's but it didn't feel to bad seeing as how I had my shoulders all out and thangs. Most of these pieces in this outfit I've had for a little while but haven't wore it except the vest, it was a recent purchase. The vest was actually an investment piece because I've wanted one like this for a longgggg time. I seen it at old navy and I almost fainted in the store. Me being the bargainista that I am I was not paying $30 for it so I waited until it was time to redeem my super cash I had earned from that shopping trip and went back about 2 weeks later. I ended up getting the vest for $18 with my super cash. Normally I would wait for it to go down some more but I knew it would be put to good use so I splurged on the vest. I also invested in getting a tripod I know my husband must be excited about that lol I'm very particular about my pictures and I know he'd rather not be standing around taking 1,000 pictures.
I decided to take these pictures despite my lip being swollen on one side. Boy the things we do for fashion but I really wanted to share this outfit.
Um what the heck was I doing :-)

Lace & Florals

Hello there! I took these pics last week and hadn't posted them. As you can see I was forced to take the pictures inside due to the cold and rainy weather outside. On the plus side that means fall is coming soon. I'm so ready for the fall weather I like summer but the past few weeks it was heat stroke hot I wasn't too happy about that.
Now about the outfit. I couldn't wait for any sign of the cold weather to pull some boots out the closet and last week was my first opportunity. It wasn't that cold somewhere in the high 60's so no heavy layering was needed. I picked this shirt up on a very recent purchase from Charlotte Russe and the pants from Ross a few months back. I've had the boots since last winter that I purchased from Ross right before my deployment (yes couldn't pass up the deal).

Earrings: Old Navy $2.35 (3 pk) Shirt: Charlotte Russe: $7 Cami: Forever 21 $2.80 Pants: Ross $10
Boots: Ross (old but either $23 or $25)

Studs, Spikes & Stripes

Yes I am finally back I know it's been way to long but a few things happened in the past months and I had zero time to blog. I hadn't been dressing up because I had no time to really do anything. If you have read my info then you know I'm in the military and sometimes unpredictable things happen. Well I was on 12 hour shifts at night for about 6 weeks so if I wasn't working I was pretty much sleeping. We are finally off 12s as of last week so I will am back to blogging yes!!! Other events occurred since my last post but it's kinda depressing so I will leave it out.

Well I wore this a while back and hadn't posted it. Some of these pics aren't the best because the lighting was mostly gone so I had to take them in different spots by the house. Anyway these shoes up top were a splurge for me. Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm always on a hunt to get the best bargain possible. I had been wanting some flats like this for a while and I knew I would get a lot of use out of them so I just had to suck it up.

What I wore- Rue 21: Earrings & Necklace $1 Ea / Old Navy: Shirt $3 & Jeans $10 / Walmart: Belt $3 / Nine West Outlet: Shoes $38
